New to Church?

Welcome! Whether you are new to Christianity, new to GOFAMINT as a church, or you've just moved to the area,  we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Christianity and this Church.

Key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

We meet in online and on-site on Sundays for our Sunday (Bible) School where everyone learns and gets the opportunity to ask questions about Bible teachings. We serve light refreshments at the end of the service (now subject to health and safety rules). Parking is free around the Church vicinity.

We currently meet online for prayers on Tuesdays and Bible Study on Thursdays.

You can see a map on our contact us page

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome and our Pastor will be available to answer your questions. There will be approximately 25 minutes of singing in various styles, passages read from the Bible and the opportunity for church members to pray over various challenges and issues. There is usually a sermon, talk or seminar during the Sunday Service.

Light refreshments are available after the service where there is plenty of time to mingle meet new people and ask more questions.

We hold Bible Study and Prayer Sessions during the week.

What happens to the kids at church?

We have a fantastic programme for the kids at the Church for:

Children under 6 months are welcome but must be accompanied by their parent/carer at all times.
Solution Kids -  all children up to age 12. Older kids join the Youth Department.

Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as the whole Church starts the service together before going to various classes for Sunday (Bible) School.

****All  activities are currently on hold pending guidance from the government and health authorities.

For more information about what happens in the children's department please visit the relevant section under church life.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes. You will also find that regular attendees wear comfortable modest clothes varying from individual to individual.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you. The people leading various sections and departments have been members for some time and do know what is expected in each section. If you would like to join and serve any department speak to any one in the Church and you would be directed accordingly.
